House of Many Waters is a story of Light against Darkness, set in a fictional version of Earth called "Gaia" - in many ways not too dissimilar to the world we know yet in many ways starkly unique. Set above the world are the Nooma Spheres, massive membranes of uncreated Light, received from Eternity to be released into all of Creation. They are the home of the Arza's (Light beings) and the Great Nefoz (eternally ascended Loomens, humans who were awakened to Light and abided by it as Protectors and distributors thereof). Set below the world are Raak Spheres, the antithesis of Nooma Spheres, neither created nor eternal, whose inception came as a consequence of the first DNA Hacking in the world - a time where Abaddon and his fallen Arza's, now transfigured into Nulls by their abandoning Light and total consumption of what Light was given to them in their creation, infiltrated mankind, convincing them to stop stewarding the Light.
